Yoruba movie Actor, Ibrahim Abiodun Chatta, is not screaming on top of the hills about his nomination for the City People’s Best Actor of the Year. While some actors may be clamouring for votes, Ibrahim has announced to his fans that he doesn’t have any interest in winning the award. He went as far as telling them not to even vote for him.
He said “Hello fellas, my name is Ibrahim Abiodun Chatta. I’d like to appeal to my friends, fans and folks not to vote for me on the city people’s best actor of d year nomination.
Please Do not Vote for me, as I am not interested and I believe most of d film awards in Nigeria are not credible enough. So I won’t allow anybody or organization rubbish my GOD given talents. Ire ooo”
The event is coming soon. Actors and actresses of the Yoruba sector of Nollywood are set to slog it out in the Yoruba Movie Academy Awards, YMAA. The award ceremony will hold in Ibadan. Muyiwa Ademola, Yomi Fash Lanso, Femi Adebayo, Odunlade Adekola, Ibrahim Chatta, and Muka Eyiwinmi were nominated for the Best Actor in leading role, while fuji music stars; Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, Saheed Osupa, Ajoke Cinderella, Sule Alao Malaika, Salawa Abeni got nominated for the Best Musician in an Acting Role.
