Embattled Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe and husband Mr. Lanre Gentry are on the news again.The Nollywood actress who is at the centre of a messed up marriage due to acclaimed Domestic violence from her husband is at it again.
The case against Gentry which is in court presently saw Mercy not showing up at the Ogba Magistrate court yet again. Gentry is who is currently facing charges for domestic violence ranging from beating to inflicting injuries on his wife contrary to provisions of Protection Against Domestic Violence and Connected Purposes Law of Lagos State 2007.

During the court hearing, the actress was to tender the medical report for her claims of domestic violence by Gentry,while Gentry was to show the reasons why the restraining order made on April 28, 2017 should not be made permanent by the court.
In recent times,another bone of contention has surfaced before the family court on the custody of their two children.
It was gathered that Gentry arrived the courtroom by 9pm and by 11:25am when the matter was called,Mercy was nowhere to be found.,Gentry therfore went into the Chief Magistrate with his lawyer and came out 18minutes later and left the court premises.It happened that Mercy Aigbe appeared minutes after with her lawyer after her husband left and got into the magistrate chambers and came out minutes later also.
The case has being adjourned to June 28.
