Multiple award-winning singer and songwriter, David Adeleke aka Davido have shared a photo of himself being used on campaign material ahead of the September 22 gubernatorial election in Osun State.
According to the photo he shared via his verified Twitter handle on Monday evening, Davido was featured on a campaign billboard for his uncle, Sen. Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke, who is contesting for the governorship of the state.
On the billboard, the Omo Baba Olowo (OBO) was shown endorsing his uncle, the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the upcoming election.
He was quoted as saying, “I, Davido Support Sen. Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke as Governor, Osun State”
Sen. Adeleke is currently representing Osun West senatorial district in the National Assembly, after replacing his elder brother, Sen. Isiaka Adeleke, who died of heart attack on April 23, 2017.
