Davido has no right to say Nigeria’s economy is in shambles – Joe Igbokwe fumes
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe, has chastised popular singer David Adeleke aka Davido for claiming Nigeria’s economy is in shambles.
Davido had, on an American podcast, warned US citizens against contemplating relocation to Africa, especially Nigeria, saying the country’s economy is in “shambles.”
Reacting, Igbokwe demanded a retraction from Davido, saying that the country made him who he is.
On his Facebook page, he wrote, “My in-law Davido has made me sad by telling the world in America that Nigeria’s economy is in shambles. This is very sad. I will advise him to retract the statement ASAP. Nigeria made Davido. QED!!!”
