Passage: 2 Corinthians 13:14

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.

Message: Intimacy With The Holy Spirit

To have communion with the Holy Spirit is to be intimate with Him, to know Him through fellowship. Today’s message emphasizes on relationship with the Holy Spirit because many believers ignore Him. So many are unable to walk in His power.

Jesus said in John 14:26, “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, He will teach you all things.” So, He speaks to us, but are we listening?

Intimacy isn’t developed in a group setting; a high attendance at church wouldn’t build relationship with the Holy Spirit, messages and seeing miracles could stir up your desire to know Him deeper, but you have to make the time for Him, to acknowledge His person, to pray in the Spirit, to be led by Him.

The passage is a message from Apostle Paul, a man that accomplished great things for the Glory of God as a result of His relationship with the Holy Spirit. Jesus said in John 16:14, that the Holy Spirit will glorify Him, in other words, because the Holy Spirit lives in you, and as a result of your relationship with Him, His able to Glorify Jesus through the different ways He’ll manifest through you. 1 Corinthians 12:7 states, “the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all.”

I pray we back up our desire to go deeper in God with actions, setting aside a time everyday for a meeting with the Holy Spirit; acknowledging His presence and being still to be led by Him.
