Borrowing a line from Koko Master D’Banj, “Ladies, if you’re still sitting down you’re on a long thing”! That’s because from the month of June twelve beautiful ladies will be contending to be his number one ‘Kokolette’ in a reality TV show tagged the ‘Koko Mansion’. What is expected of the ‘Kokolettes’? Well for one they will be selected through a video audition and tested in their ability to be good hosts to D’Banj and his friends during visits to the ‘Koko Mansion’ and also in how well they can take care of the mansion. The girls’ ultimate role is to try to impress D’Banj (who will be representing the average Nigerian Bachelor) and at the end of eight weeks, the ‘Kokolette’ who makes it to end will be crowned ‘Kokolette 1. She also gets a Chris Aires Diamond ring, a brand new convertible car, N5 million cash prize in addition to an appearance in D ‘Banj’s next music video, ‘Fall in Love’. That’s not all, ‘Kokolette 1’ will also be D’Banj’s companion at public events both within and outside Nigeria during her reign as Kokolette 1! The show, according to Hitv’s Business Development and Sales Manager, Aka -Bashorun, is different from other reality shows because it entirely celebrates womanhood and all it takes to be a true African woman. It extols African values, cultures and traditional roles of women in the society. Nigerian Supermodel, Oluchi Onweagba, Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele and celebrity hair stylist, Bobby will be part of the show which is scheduled to air on HITV.
