Frank Obi,a US base Nigerian footballer was attacked by unknown hoodlums in Lagos Nigeria.
The hoodlums who were suspected to be cultist attacked the victim at 3, Ade Olowu Street off Isuti Road, Igando.
Obi who came home to attend Synagogue Church of All Nations for prayer before returning to the state was attacked by one Taofeek who jumped from a story building with the cutlass and inflicted an injury on his legs.
He was rushed to the hospital where he is receiving medical treatment.
Igando police division arrested Taofeek and his accomplices. The presiding Magistrate, Mr A.A. Fashola granted him bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.
Taofeek was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 12 December 2016.
