The much yearned for marital healing and fence-mending between Nollywood actress, Charity Tonto Dikeh and her estranged husband, Churchill, may yet be a long way off if we are to a recent hashtag from the actress and philanthropist very seriously.
New developments from her end, as processed by Celeb Police forensics, indicate that rather than tilt towards a reconciliation, Tonto Dikeh may actually be gearing up for a big child custody battle with Churchill as her claims in a new post suggests.
The actress had while celebrating an award given to her by one beneficiary of her foundation’s work insinuated that she was very much ready to be a mummy and daddy to her son King. In other words, Churchill’s place in the boy’s life becomes a void? One way or the other, someone is asking for a child custody battle since her billionaire hubby, Churchill, had made it very clear in his counter TV interview over the domestic violence allegations that he wants unfettered access to his son!
After a messy marriage breakup scandal, a child custody battle is the last thing fans of the actress would want right now. Unfortunately that’s where things are headed if developments in that direction are not properly managed. The only way Tonto Dikeh can make such claims of being mother and father to their son is if Churchill doesn’t care. But as events have shown, he does. Just how long he will hold out before making a forceful demand depends on how Tonto treads on the matter.
We cannot afford to let things slide to such lows, right? If part of Tonto’s game is to use King as a get-back-home-to-hubby ploy, then she should do so already, when the man is still wanting. Time repairs and heals. Time also creates detachment, resentment, and despair.
