Veteran rapper, MI Abaga, has joined the bandwagon of celebrities defending alleged credit card thief, Dammy Krane.
The singer was arrested on June 2 in Miami after he allegedly paid for the use of a private jet with stolen credit cards
Speaking about Dammy Krane’s travails, MI said that a lot of Nigerians have judged the accused without knowing the full details while insisting that the Dammy Krane that he knows could never do what he has been accused of doing.

He said, “We don’t know the details, we don’t know what happened. Until the case is over before we know what happened. But I have never heard of it before. Again, I want to be careful because i don’t know the details of the case. You know we are quick to judge before we hear.
All I can say is that as a Nigerian we need to be careful how we project our image out there but apart from that, I really wish Dammy Krane… I know Dammy Krane personally he is a great guy, I don’t think he had anything to do with this, i wish him well, all the promoters as well, I wish them well and I hope they get out of this.”
A number of celebs, including 2baba, Cynthia Morgan and Freeze have spoken in support of Dammy Krane. Their support would mean nothing, however, when Dammy Krane appears in a Miami court next month.
