After six years of solid romance with Muson Centre, entertainer Julius Agwu, would be moving this year’s edition of his annual comedy/music show, Crack Ya Ribs, to the Expo Centre, tucked inside Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos. Tagged: Comedy Armageddon, the double show, holds amid grandeur and glitz on Sunday, December 14, 2008.
Meanwhile, top comedians billed to headline the concert include: I Go dye, Gandoki, Daniel D’ Humorous, Klint D’ Drunk, Senator and Osama, Lepacious Bose, Funny Bone and a host of other rib crackers. While leading musicians like: Tuface, 9ice, Adewale Ayuba, Mr. Solek, Duncan Mighty and several others would further help to ignite both shows with their intimidating presence and arresting stage crafts.
“It is going to be a bumper package and that is why we are urging fun lovers not to miss this double outing, posited Agwu, who has also succeeded in staging the show outside the nation’s shores. “Mind you, this idea started six years ago with a vision to spread Nigerian comedy gospel to the whole world, and thank God, we are on the verge of achieving that vision,” added Agwu, who would also unveil his latest hip-hop music at the concert.
Agwu is also full of thanks and appreciation to International Energy Insurance Plc, for powering the show and at the same time helping him to bring smiles to the faces of Nigerians, who are battling daily to survive, owing to economic hardship.
