Nigerian comedian, Oluwatoyin Bayegun, popularly called Woli Arole found fame on Instagram posting videos of him preaching the Gospel hilariously reminiscent of local prophets.

Arole, who is also an MC, actor, international stand-up comedian, viral skit maker and a “prophet” has steadily built his brand in comedy content online.

In a chat with Hip TV, he talks about the comedy online saying: “Comedy skit is becoming an industry on its own.

It’s a medium in which contents are being released and people are beginning to laugh even in their sitting room and bedroom.

Brands are also looking at it. Advertising is also entering into it. So I think comedy content online is growing and getting bigger”
