Head Coach of the current U-23 team at the ongoing Rio Olympics in Brazil, Samson Siasia, has been dancing to the Samba beats of the Nigerian Football federation and the Minister of Sport, Solomon Dalung but it seems he is about to tune off the beat.
According to emerging reports, the coach is planning on throwing in the towel if the way especially the minister has been dealing with the team does not stop.
It was leant that Dalung had threatened to sanction Siasia for taking the plight of the team to the media, while he now communicates with Mikel Obi, the captain rather than the coach.
The source who revealed this to Eagleonline, stated, “The coach has been calm because of the players who have endured hardship with the team but he is ready to quit if this unending efforts to sabotage his work does not stop,” a source said.
“Nigerians should know that a lot of people are working against the U-23 Eagles and Siasia is very upset but he has been keeping his cool and that is why he has not replied any of the accusations coming from the Sports Ministry and the minister, Solomon Dalung.
“Don’t be surprised if by the time the victory dance is over, the coach sends in his resignation letter. He has had it to the hilt and is no longer willing to continue.”
