It was reported that a Chinese national has committed suicide in his residence at Itohan Avenue of Ikeja, Lagos State.
The victim identified as Si Guicai, hung himself to the window of his apartment at 9 pm.
The reason behind the demise of the 50-years-old man is yet to be known.
Confirming the incident was the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Dolapo Badmus, who said a team of police officers have visited and examine the scene of the act.
She said, “One Si Guicai, a Chinese, allegedly hanged himself to the iron window in his room.
“A team of policemen attached to Man-centre division visited, examined and photographed the scene, while corpse was removed and deposited at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja morgue for autopsy while investigation is ongoing.”
