It was all fun and excitement over the weekend as celebrities from all works of life especially in the Nigerian entertainment and movie industry, stepped out in grandeur to grace the unveiling of the new Lux beauty soap at Sheraton Hotels and Towers in Lagos.
The event, which could best be described as a gathering of the best of Nigeria’s beauties, attracted the presence of Helen Ajayi, former Miss Nigeria in 1979, who was also the Special Guest of the evening tagged ‘Nite of Temptation’.
Others who stormed the truly tempting event as it turned out to be included Omowumi Akinnifesi, former Miss Nigeria, Loveth Ajuofoh, the reigning Miss UNILAG, Doris Simeon, Best Supporting Actress, AMAA 2008, Ego, the popular Lagbaja songster, Bukky Wright, a Nollywood actress, and Kenny Bankole, Olaide Olagun and Sylvia Udeogwu, all of the popular TV show Soul Sisters, from the stable of Wale Adenuga Production, the producer of the popular soap opera Super Story.
It was indeed a night of temptation. This was depicted right from the entrance to the hall to the musical art performed by Banky W, the flow of event anchored by AY, one of the best comedians in Nigeria, the temptation game and many more side attractions that made the event a memorable one indeed.
The special guest of the evening, Helen Ajayi asserted that the skin is the true face of a woman’s beauty and “a privilege of nature.” She said that nature itself can always do with a little help. “I am proud to note that since 1924, Lux Beauty bar has always been there to help every woman enjoy getting beautiful, accentuate their feminine details and give a memorable indulgent experience,” she said.
Speaking at the cozy evening, the Managing Director of Unilever Nigeria Plc.
