The US Federal Aviation Administration has advised passengers on Thursday to switch-off there Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smart phones and not to charge it on aircraft because of the reports of explosion from faulty batteries.
The sales of the “phablet” were kept pending by the South Korean smart phone maker last week and a sum of 2.5million units was recalled after the report.
“In light of recent incidents and concerns raised by Samsung about its Galaxy Note 7 devices, the Federal Aviation Administration strongly advises passengers not to turn on or charge these devices on board aircraft and not to stow them in any checked baggage,” the statement made by FAA said.
Samsung is the world’s top smartphone maker, outpacing its American rival Apple.
