Screen siren, Caroline Ekanem, has finally broken her silence on rumours, which broke in December 2010, that her marriage to businessman Musa Danjuma has crashed. Speaking through her artistes’ manager, Phill Okafor, and the media relations manager of Guepard Records, Daniel Robert Akpan, Caroline says the negative reports published in the soft-sell magazines emanated from aggrieved elements within Guepard Records, of which she is Chief Executive Officer.

According to Okafor, as a result of pilfering, gross indiscipline, and staff working for themselves instead of the company, Caroline had to shut down the company temporarily. He cited examples of stealing of N350, 000, cameras and a laptop, which infuriated the CEO. “When Caroline then decided to take action, some disgruntled elements within the company resorted to cheap blackmail in the media,” Okafor asserts.

Robert Akpan, the media relations manager, also added that the negative reports about Caroline were unwarranted, as the actress is currently living happily with her husband and family at Park View in Ikoyi, Lagos. “In fact, Caroline has just returned to the country with her husband and family after a combined Christmas and Valentine holiday. As an appreciation for the love that exists in the family, the husband gave her a GL300 automatic Mercedes Benz car as a Valentine gift,” Akpan conclude.
