Nigerian singer Burna Boy was dragged to court for master minding the robbery attack of fellow singer Mr. 2Kay.
The court case was scheduled for Monday 19th February 2018 at court 1 of the Ikeja magistrate court, but the case has been adjourned to 17 April 2018.
The prosecuting counsel disclosed the new stating the reasons for the impromptu adjournment.
Moreover the suits to both party was absent at the day of the sitting as it is reported that Burna boy is currently in the United Kingdom promoting his new album ‘Outside’, while on the other hand Mr. 2Kay went for a performance at the live eviction of BBNaija in South Africa.
It can be recalled that the drama started when Mr. 2Kay was robbed and beaten to pulp in his hotel room at Eko Hotel and Suites after performing at the “Buckwyld ‘n’ Breathless” back in 2017.
After the incident, the Nigerian police force commences an investigation and arrested four suspects who accepted the charges and named Burna Boy as the master minder of the incident. They also revealed that Burna Boy paid N50 000 up front and would complete the amount with another N50, 000 once the attack is complete.
