Fast-rising comedian, ElderO, who is also known as the ‘red-cap comedian’ is gradually recovering from the shock of the loss of his wife to death. The woman died during childbirth in December 2014.
The Abia State born rib-cracker in the company of his family, friends and colleagues took his three months old son, Prince, to church for dedication and thanksgiving.
He was accompanied to the church by his colleagues in the showbiz industryamong who are MC Shaggy and wife, Mandy, Eletu, MC Icewater and wife, Frankonero, Prymzo, DVD, Wuzup 9ja TV crew, and some others.
Speaking with Nigeriafilms.com on how he has been coping after the loss, ElderO, admitted that it hasn’t been easy at all to nurse a baby as a single father, but said with the grace of God and the help of his mother-in-law, he has been managing.
“Its no easy at all. I must confess, I still cry once in a while even at the church during the child’s dedication, I was just shedding tears. She would have been here with me, but I’m stronger now. It’s a very big scar, I’m learning how to live with it,” he said while still engrossed in the bitter loss.
Precisely on Saturday, December 6, 2014, David Ogechukwu (Elder O) lost his darling wife, Charity Odoemelam after she put to bed the first fruit of their marriage; a bouncing baby boy. She died less than 24 hours after her Cesarean and Fibroid removal surgeries.
