Bovi expresses worry over loss at AMVCA after seven nominations

The inability of Bovi Ugboma to win the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award (AMVCA) after his seventh nomination has become worrisome for the Nigerian comedian and actor.

He took to his Instagram page to lament to express his worry after losing out in the 10th edition which was held in Lagos on Saturday.

The comedian noted how he has bagged 7 nominations since inception, with 4 being individual nominations, yet he hasn’t won any.

Despite his ordeal, Bovi is hopeful of winning the award before the 20th edition.

Bovi, who was nominated for the Best Writing TV series for his work on Visa On Arrival, also congratulated all winners of the 10th edition.

He lost the award to Mona Ombogo of Volume.
