Last weekend, a video went viral where the respectable fuji artiste was praise-singing for one of Nigeria’s most controversial persons, Bobrisky.
When asked why he did such, the iconic singer simply said that because the young man is a ‘fine Nigerian’. He also hinted that if needs be, he could feature Bobrisky in his future projects.
“I read a lot and I am very conversant with what happens online. Bobrisky is an important personality that everybody wants to talk about and he is such a nice person. Whatever controversy you think anyone has, either negative or positive, the first thing you should think about is if he has command of followership.If he suits my programme, nothing stops me from using him as long he is not being labelled as a killer. It is only in this part of the world that we look at people differently because of their choices in life.
Whatever you want to do, go ahead and do it well. He makes money abroad, what is Bobrisky doing that is not good? I need to be educated better on that before I can condemn anybody. I don’t have any right to condemn anybody and if I find him suitable for my programme, I would use him. He is a fine Nigerian,” he said.
