Just as we wait to know how Mzbels”s case turns out, another Showbiz personality has been engaged in what most would refer to as unbecoming of celebrities in Ghana.
This week when we visited Roger Quartey”s set where is shooting his latest movie title “Birth after Death”. All the movie stars who could not afford to bring their own cars relied on taxis to their various destinations .One taxi was supposed to pass through North Kaneshi, Dansoman, and Mallam and finally alight the last person at McCarthy Hill.
After the taxi driver had price them 30cedis for the entire trip from Osu children’s home , the driver alighted the first actress who is said to have starred in yet to be released movie “Somewhere in Africa “ at North Kaneshie when the driver got to Dansoman,he made it known to one Kumasi based actress Cynthia Tima Yeboah That he could not continue the journey because he had realized that he amount he priced them was not enough , demanding that the actress either added a few cedis or he stops at Dansoman.
This Culminated in the exchange of words in the car and the next moment, it turned to “Fisticuffs” in the street when the actress decided to talk louder than the taxi driver .A different taxi driver had to come to the rescue of the actress but the angry taxi driver would not budge. On lookers at the scene told Tima that the fact that she is an actress does not give her the right to insult the taxi driver.
Cynthia had to make a rescue call to her soldier boyfriend in Burma Camp which threatened the taxi driver to leave the scene quitting the journey in the middle.
Although the taxi driver did not want to talk to this reporter, he was able to get his car number which is GT819 W.As to whether the actress will report the case to the police is another thing we are waiting for.
For those who don’t know much about Cynthia Tima Yeboah, she has featured in many Twi and English movies like Asem Asa,Owuo Safoa,The Supremo, Kyeiwa University,Madam Moke and Obra Akwantuo, among others.
