Blackface agitates for Plantashun Boiz’s reunion
Singer Augustine Amedu Obiabo, aka Blackface, has called for a reunion of the Plantashun Boiz, a defunct music group that consisted of 2Face, Faze and himself.
The defunct group was a prominent force in the Nigerian music scene before disbanding in 2004.
The singer made the appeal on his Instagram page, urging his former bandmates to reunite to explore the strength that comes with unity.
Blackface urged fans to plead with 2Baba and Faze on his behalf to answer his unity call.
He wrote: “Plantashun Boiz, the question now is to be or not to be and why? @fazealone @official2baba.
“My people, oya make una talk put mouth for this matter! We are on a mission for world peace and it’s not a small thing!
“Unity is strength and not division. Let’s go champs.”
The group had a brief reunion in 2007, releasing their third album “Plan B” before splitting again.
