Birthday: Comedian senator thankful for surviving near-fatal illness
Two months after he survived a near-death experience, popular actor and comedian, Bethel Njoku, popularly known as Senator, has celebrated his birthday with deep gratitude.
The thespian, in a post made on his Instagram page, shared a video compilation documenting his health journey, including moments from his hospital stay.
Senator also detailed his recovery process, stressing that although he likes to keep his life off social media, he felt compelled to publicly thank God for sparing his life.
He wrote, “Hello Fam!!! I ordinarily wouldn’t bring my private life to social media for trade and barter… but this is rare because God has repeatedly shown why I am special to Him.
“Help me give thanks and praise to Almighty God for letting me see another year, even when the enemy planned otherwise just two months ago. God has said Happy Birthday to me today ✌️✌️✌️. @kaymennjoku My personal doctor 😍😘 your patient dey celebrate o.”
