The big question of the day is, in the ongoing ASUU strike, who between the Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) have the nation’s Education at heart most?
Is it Asuu who is saying that the government has refused to implement its 2009 promise to the body which stipulates that, within three years, the government would make available N1.5 trillion to federal universities amounting to about N500 billion per annum, but instead presented a N100billion?
Or the government, who have threatened to pull off from further negotiations following ASUU’s refusal of its N100 billion presented to the University body, with blames on the university body for not being considerate with the government who’s been spending on other sectors too, to better the lots of Nigerians?
