BBNaija: I’ll only reconcile with Wanni X Handi if… – Ruthie
A former Big Brother Naija housemate, Ruth Akpan, aka Ruthie, has given the only condition that would make her reconcile with twins and fellow contestants, Wani and Handi.
According to Ruthie, who was recently evicted from the show, the only condition is if the twins are open to reconciliation.
In a recent interview, she said, “There is always room for communication. We are adults, and I’m hoping that we are mature. If there’s an avenue for communication, we will talk things out. But, their reaction after the conversation will determine if we will get along. That’s because we were not actually friends in the first place. And, if apologies are supposed to be made to one another, why not?”
On if she felt it was unfair to make accusations against the twins, Ruthie said, “I am a girly girl. Perhaps, I overreacted. But then, you don’t poke someone consistently, then play the victim. I am very sure that if they had the chance, they would have said more. They kept poking me for weeks. Because of the Custodian power they had, they threatened me to pack my bags.”
Asked how she would feel if the twins eventually win the show, Ruthie said, “If it is destined for them to win, I cannot control that. I will be happy for them.”
Speaking on if she would continue her relationship with Mayor Frosh, Ruthie said, “Yes, it is said that good things take time. Now that we are outside the house, there is that freedom to get to know someone better. In the beginning, we had good friendship, and it can lead to something great. There is level of getting to know each other, and we cannot tell where it will lead to. We are close, and he’s cute; so maybe.”
