BBNaija: Handi declares readiness for legal battle with Ben over sexual assault claim
Evicted Big Brother Naija ‘No Loose Guard’ housemate, Handi Danbaki, has said she is ready to challenge her colleague, Ben, in court over alleged sexual assault.
Ben had earlier vowed to drag Handi and her twin sister, Wanni to court for accusing him of assaulting the former on the show.
However, one of the pair, who was evicted last Sunday expressed surprise that Ben was threatening them with a lawsuit.
She claimed she let the matter slide because Ben apologised during their time on the show.
She said, “I forgot about the issue because after the Saturday night party, he [Ben] came to my ear and said, ‘That’s not who I am, that’s not who I am.’
“He was crying to my ear and I was like, okay, I will drop the case. That’s why I looked past it. But he did do that. And I told him, you did what you did. I really wished Biggie had shown me the video or anything but I’m a woman, I know my body. I know when someone does something to me. I’m not a baby. And I will never come out to say someone did something to me when I’m not sure about it. I’m still standing my ground but I chose to forget about it but if he wants to take it legally he should come, I’m ready for it.”
