Many will not forget the incident of 2011 where a Canada-based woman claimed she was still married to Mercy Johnson’s husband, Odi Okojie. She cried out after she heard on the internet that the man was planning to get married to the popular actress.
At a point, some thought the wedding would no longer go as planned, but Mercy Johnson defied public outcry and went on with the ceremony, which took place on August 27, 2011 at a Christ Embassy Church in Lagos.
If what is filtering in is anything to go by, then a repeat of such may happen to Duncan Mighty, a Port Harcourt-based singer.
Not too long ago, he announced that he would be getting married to his sweetheart, Vivien on July 25, 2015 in Rivers State. But after the announcement, a woman has dragged Duncan Mighty to court.
She claimed the singer abandoned her and her child after delivery, but now wants him to take responsibility of the baby.
The lady, Fortune Ezinne Nwadike, based in Abuja, gave birth to a baby girl in March 2015.
The court has now reportedly ordered the singer to appear before it on July 22, 2015, three days before his wedding.
According to 36ng, the camp of Duncan Mighty, in their reaction, described Ezinne as a distraction, saying she is only unhappy because the singer is getting married to someone else.
