There seems to be no gossips that can fly pass the person involved without hearing as popular comedian, Ayo Makun better known as AY, has been under serious observation.
The comedian in no little time has emerged as one of the most successful entertainer in the country and aside comedy, just venturing into movie production; he has been able to break barriers which some veterans have not been able to achieve.
AY’s first movie production, ’30 Days in Atlanta,’ was rated the highest grossed earner in Africa and that led to it been recorded in the Guinness World book of Records, but not many have been comfortable with his feat as it has been assumed that he is into some rituals for fame.
Getting the opportunity to speak about his achievement, the comedian explained that he has heard what has been rumoured about him but he will like people to know that he is a product of God’s grace and not by any fetish act.
“I am just a product of God’s grace. When I shot ‘30 days in Atlanta,’ I just set out to go there and have fun but a lot of people are attributing it to something else. They are saying maybe I did juju. I’ve heard all sorts and I’m beginning to suspect myself in the sense that anything I do always comes out well. My stand-up comedy show is one of the biggest in the country. Same with my TV show. I’m just a product of grace. That is what I tell people. Not because I am the best, not because I know how to do it better. I just have this shining light and I keep praying that the grace remains. For now, let me enjoy my grace,” he told Punch.
