Nigeria abounds with many talents. If there is one thing the country is proud of, it is definitely going to be her people (Nigerians). In most facet of life, there is going to be a Nigerian in there.
The music industry is also not left out in its abundance of talents. 2Face, Sound Sultan, Asa, P-Square and others are some of the talents the music industry can boast of.
The industry now awaits the introduction of another young talent in the bloc to carry on the torch.
Krekpe Ogaga Godspower otherwise known as GP-Splash is an R&B singer, rapper and songwriter from Warri, Delta State. Though death dealt him a blow at age three (3) when he lost his parents, but he didn’t allow that to deter him from aiming high.
The 24 years old artiste in 2005 reluctantly competed in a talent show which he didn’t win but he was spotted by a producer. Two years later, he got glued to a group of four Gospel singers and they recorded about ten songs together.
Gp Splash left the group to settle for a solo career after the group members went their different ways. He thereafter released some singles such as ‘Fake Love’, ‘Be Mine’, ‘Lets Runaway’, ‘Tori Ife’, ‘Money comes and Goes’ and ‘Dat One Sef Dey’ which has a very good video to show for.
He recently released a new single which featured Oritse Femi titled ‘Boya Lomo’. Gp Splash already has qualities of an artiste that can stay consistent in the game.
