Reports have it that the special adviser to the Lagos Government on commerce and industry Mr Deji Tinubu is dead.
According to the source, he died after he slumped at the ongoing retreat happening in Epe, Lagos state today 25th january 2018.
It was gathered further that it was a cardiac arrest that was uncontrolable.
Mr. Tinubu was at the helm of affairs of sports in the state since the inception of the Ambode administration. He doubled as chairman of the sports commission as well as special adviser to Governor Ambode on sports, beforew he was named the Special Advicer on Commerce and Industry in November 2017.
Masqueraded as a top class sports commentator and analyst. His deep, insightful and astute comments, coupled with his gift of the gab made for an enjoyable and educative viewing and listening experience.

October 2015 Deji Tinubu was appointed member of the Lagos State Executive Council as the Special Adviser on Sports to His Excellency Governor Akinwunmi Ambode as well as the Chairman Lagos State Sports Commission.
