English actor,musician and DJ Idrissa Akuna “Idris” Elba who is known for playing the narcotrafficker Stringer Bell in the HBO series The Wire, Detective John Luther on the BBC One series Luther, and Nelson Mandela in the biographical film Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom in 2013.
He was nominated for about four times for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Miniseries or Television Film, winning one, and was nominated five times for a Primetime Emmy Award.

Elba appeared in Ridley Scott’s American Gangster (2007), Takers (2010), Thor (2011), Prometheus (2012), Pacific Rim (2013), Thor: The Dark World (2013) and Beasts of No Nation (2015, for which he received BAFTA and Golden Globe nominations for Best Supporting Actor), and Star Trek Beyond (2016).He voiced Chief Bogo in Zootopia (2016), Shere Khan in The Jungle Book, and Fluke in Finding Dory. He will make his directorial debut with an adaptation of the 1992 novel Yardie by Victor Hadley and in 2016, he was named in the Time as the list of 100 Most Influential People in the World.
Recently,Idris Elba has disclosed that he doesn’t think of giving marriage another shot after his previously 2failed marriages.
Recall that Elba was married to Hanne Norgaard from 1999 to 2003, and after the marriage failed,he married Sonya Nicole Hamlin for six weeks in 2006.

Speaking in a new interview he said marriage was not his calling,
“Am I ever gonna get remarried? I don’t think so,” he told Essence. “Yeah, I don’t think so. Marriage is an institution of sorts. And I’ve done it. It’s not for everybody. It’s not my life’s calling.”he said
He and his first wife Norgaard have a teenage daughter named Isan and also has a toddler son Winston with his girlfriend Naiyana Garth in 2014.
