Alleged defamation: Primeboy issues 7-dy ultimatum to Mohbad’s mother

Ibrahim Owodunni, popularly known as Primeboy, the childhood friend of late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad has issued a 7-day ultimatum to the deceased’s mother, Abosede Adeyemo-Aloba to withdraw an alleged defamatory statement against him.

The up-and-coming singer revealed the reason for initiating a legal battle with the bereaved mother saying she accused him of having an altercation with her son before his death.

In a statement signed by his lawyer, Akinpelu Ogunbona, Primeboy stressed that the interview granted by Mohbad’s mother was aimed at tarnishing his name in the industry.

“In the said interview, you alleged that our client always fought the late Mohbad and consistently complained about his neglect by the deceased since the singer rose to stardom.

“You also alleged that our client was advised to run away after Mohbad’s death so as not to be suspected regarding the death.

“Your actions are deliberate to injure and traduce the integrity of our client, who is a rising star in the music industry. Your allegations in the interview have negatively impacted the affection and love enjoyed by our client from his fans and well-wishers around the world,” he noted.

In the letter shared via Instagram, Primeboy gave the late singer’s mother seven days to retract her statements.

Primeboy further threatened to take legal action if she failed to do so.
