Adeniyi Johnson reacts to his suspension by AFRIMEK
Nollywood actor, Adeniyi Johnson, has reacted to his suspension from the African Men Entertainment Kings (AFRIMEK).
Recall that the movie star was suspended on Saturday in a post shared on AFRIMEK’s Instagram page, where Johnson was accused of misconduct and breaching the club’s constitution.
Johnson’s suspension was accompanied by his picture saying, “ADENIYI JOHNSON is hereby suspended indefinitely from the club (AFRIMEK). He has no right to portray himself as a member and is stopped from participating in any club activities. This decision is borne out of his gross misconduct and breach of the club’s constitution.”
In his reaction, the thespian denied the allegations levelled against him by the club and urged his fans to remain calm while he deals with the situation.
He wrote, “It saddens my heart that my honourable club made such a derogatory post about me!! Please note that I am not bigger than the club, but before the club there has been Adeniyi Johnson. If care isn’t taken, that post will do more harm than good!
“I feel this is detrimental to my name, my family, standard, and even upbringing— more importantly, my brand.
“I hereby implore my family, friends, and teeming fans to stay calm and continue to show unwavering love and support!!!
“To all associates, I remain my humble self and thanks for the continuous belief and trust!! God pass us all!!”
