It’s a great way to end the year for veteran actor, Adebayo Salami, popularly known as Oga Bello who was recently conferred with a royal title in Yorubaland.
The 64-year-old actor, film producer and director shared the news with his fans on social media, expressing gratitude for the moment of pride.
Adebayo has spent most of his adult life entertaining millions all around the globe with his effortless display of characters who always tell interesting tales. As a well-achieved actor, the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (western zone) honoured him with a special title for his service in the entertainment industry.
Sharing the news with his fans on social media, Oga Bello revealed he is the presently turbaned Seriki Amuludun of Yorubaland. In his post he said: “A most valuable moment last weekend, as I was conferred the title of “SERIKI AMULUDUN OF YORUBA LAND” by the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (western zone). Alhamdulilah for the grace at all times. Thank you IEDPU!”
Oga Bello is an indigene of Ilorin, Kwara state and his son who is also an actor, Femi Adebayo, is a special adviser to Kwara state governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed on entertainment, art and tourism.
