Actress Wofai Fada breaks silence after controversial wedding
Actress, Wofai Fada, has reacted to the controversies that trailed her wedding to her lover, Taiwo Cole.
Recall that the groom’s family shortly after the traditional wedding of the duo distanced themselves from their union, stating that they did not give their blessing for the actress to marry their son.
In a statement signed by the groom’s father, Kunle Cole, the Cole Family of Lagos Island did not grant permission for the marriage.
The statement read partly, “This serves to notify all acquaintances, family and friends that the Cole family of Victoria Island, Lagos, are not aware of any marriage ceremony of our son, Taiwo Olakitan Cole; neither did we grant permission nor support in this regard.”
Breaking her silence on the now-viral incident, on Monday, the actress declared that the union between her and Taiwo shall be permanent.
In a Monday post via her Instagram handle, she shared more traditional photos of herself and her newly wedded husband, Taiwo, a son of the prominent Cole family of Victoria Island, Lagos.
She wrote, “The Bride, and groom @taiwo.cole.7. And our joy shall be permanent. Thanks to my team.”
