Fast rising Yoruba actress, Adekemi Taofeek has said that the reason every actress wants to become producer is because it is very rewarding.

Adekemi who just released her latest movie  titled ‘Babymama’ said that if you do not produce , you would never gain any respect from other producers . she also pointed out that being a producer a great way of doing a role you love to do because other producers may not give you the roles you desire.

“If you don’t produce, you will never gain respect from producers” she said wryly. “Second, it is a good way to showcase your talent because you are able to give yourself the role you desire which you may not be able to get from another producer. In most cases, as an upcoming actor, you don’t get more than five scenes from other producers. And there’s the financial matters too” she told us.’
Babymama seems to be the second movie produced by the enterprising actress after her first which was ‘Tibi Tire’. She is set to do her third titled, ‘Aaye Mi (My Space).

She noted that every Yoruba actor is a producer including the English movie sector as well which has also followed the trend.
