Nollywood actress cum politician, Funke Adesiyan has branded the president of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari as a tyrant in a lengthy Instagram post which she shared earlier today.
She said she is not disappointed in the president whom she described as egoistic, deceitful and a two faced tyrant because she did not vote for him.
She said she is disappointed instead in men of supposed honor who has sold him to gullible Nigerians and yet keep mute as the democracy they alongside many others fought for is being destroyed Buhari.
She went on to call out the likes of prominent Nigerians like Asiwaju Tinubu, Prof Wole Soyinka, Adams Oshiomole whom she alleges led the people to believe they are on the side of Nigeria and the oppressed.
She asked them if they are afraid of arrest in a country that is practicing democracy and there should be freedom of speech, expression and association. She reminded Nigerians that she had said the planned protest is useless by likening it to protesting to a deaf horse.
According to her, protesting is not enough and the elders who sold Buhari to Nigerians as a good leader and now chosen to be quiet with the present state of things have failed Nigeria.
She concluded with hash tags about weeping for Nigeria, voting out tyranny come 2019, fixing the country and also telling the people the true state of health of the president.
