Nigerian Nollywood actress Lola Alao who is mostly popular in the Yoruba movie sector has issued a warning towards people that are using the death of Aisha Abimbola to enrich their pockets.
People have used the medium to solicit for funds for the burial of Aisha and Lola has warned the public about these scammers as it is only their means to enrich themselves.
She has declared that before the demise of Aisha she was a citizen of Canada and the government will take full responsibility over the funding of her funeral.
In Lola’s words;
“Late Aisha is a very private person and she’s been battling with the cancer for a while but she didn’t make it public. She’s a Canadian citizen and the government is taking care of the funeral so we are not seeking for funds from any one. Kindly disregard any message asking you to contribute anything towards her burial.” She wrote.
Aisha Abimbola died on the 15th of May in Canada after battling with breast cancer for some while.
