Nollywood actor, Uzee Usman has decried the rate at which people pretend to care about others, while in the real sense, they are looking for an opportunity to exploit them.
Voicing his frustrations in a recent post he made, the thespian lamented that he has faced series of betrayals from people who were in-house.
Usman expressed his dismay at how people prioritise their selfish interests, showing little concern for other’s challenges, and emphasised that everyone is essentially on their own.
Stating the pretense of care during tough times, the actor questioned his followers’ sincerity.
He wrote, “In the end, nobody cares. Whatever you’re going through, you’re on your own. If you talk to someone, they exploit your problems. If you don’t, you suffer in silence. People pretend to care, but they really don’t. Do you?”
