Nigerian Nollywood iconic actor who also an inventive Director Tony Alegiouno is popularly called Green Onions has finally departed the plant earth after battling a chronic ailment.

Tony who is the founder of Aleg concept based in Lagos gave up the Ghost in his one room apartment in Ajegunle were he resides.

According to reports, the last times of the actor were nothing to write home about after he was subjected to abject poverty and he had to struggle before he can eat a one square meal.

He quitted acting in the 90s and he gave up the ghost on Friday at around 9:45pm after he was arrested by heart attack.
