Abuja based actor cum director, Collins Ifeanyi Chukwu says despite the difficult terrain, he is set to make a difference in the FCT. He told Pilot Chartbuster that he is not one easily deterred by difficulties as he only sees them as challenges he must conquer to succeed.
He made this while speaking on his new movie which he produced in partnership with the Dunamis gospel Centre, Abuja. The movie, titled El-Gibor, is a Christian gospel movie and the second this year from Collins after Burning Flame which is yet to hit the open market.
The moving story is based on a message titled El-Gibor, preached by Pastor (Dr) Becky Enenche, wife of popular medical doctor turned preacher of the gospel, Pastor (Dr) Paul Enenche, the senior pastor of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre. Its theme centres on how the power of darkness is being frustrated by the light of the power of God.
“I know that the entertainment industry in Abuja has so many challenges a practitioner has to contend with, but I can assure you that these challenges will not deter me. Come to think of it; partnering with the church (Dunamis) alone is a plus and I am grateful that both the pastor and his wife, our mother in the lard are satisfied with the project and as such have pledged to contribute to its success,” Collins said, adding that the most important feature about the movie is the dissemination of the gospel about the Christ.
El-Gibor stars the producer and director himself, Collins Ifeanyi Chukwu, Bruno Iwuoha, Tony Ezimadu, Sydney Diala, Sonny William, Marriam Nwokocha, amongst others.
