The marriage of Funke Akindele and Hubby, JJC came as a surprise to many who never saw it coming.
While many have conceived the idea that the couple might not last long due to the speculations that it was a marriage of convenience.
Over time, the celebrity couple has shown nothing but love to one another as they never stop public display of affection.
In 2015, JJC released a single ‘save the last dance’ which enjoyed massive air plays but many never knew it was written for Funke Akindele.
In an interview with MTV Base the singer whose carrier is no more at its peak, revealed that it was a song that described what he was searching for which featured his actress wife.
He said: “save the last dance is a song I actually wrote for her a couple of years ago. People didn’t really get it. Watch the video. Actually I was searching. I was giving out the whole story. I was in the music video, me and my actress wife and the life that is yet to come but people didn’t get it”
This only means as at when he released that single in February 2015, there was no relationship between him and Funke Akindele or there was nothing serious going on between them.
