The internet went agog when photos of Kenyan woman with chopped hands, Jackline Mwende went viral.

After seven years of marriage without a child, angry husband brutally attacked her for being barren.

Meanwhile the 28 year old who suffered the attack last year was flown to South Korea where she received myoelectric prosthetic hands.

According to the victim her attack came just days after she realized she was pregnant after cheating on her husband after he abandoned her for months.

However, some international company and a group of female parliamentarians decided to put smiles on her face by acquiring a four bed room house and a fully stocked supermarket for her.

She said: “A day earlier I had been spotted with the father of my unborn child. We had sought accommodation in Machakos town because I did not want to bring him to my matrimonial bed. It was on the Saturday, July 23, and after spending time with him, I went back home.

I lived alone because my husband had taken off three months earlier. On 24th, Ngila attacked me with the panga, forcing doctors to amputate both my hands.”
