Popular Nigerian actor, Leo Mezie who has just recuperated miraculously from kidney ailment has said that a lot of his friends abandoned him when he needed their help.
He expressed his heartfelt thanks to Nigerian for their love, care and support they showed him when he was sick.
He said that he never expect that he would get such kind of humanitarian support from Nigerians as many where sending a lot of money into his bank account and some of them preferred to be anonymous.
Meanwhile he has expressed disappointment to his colleagues who did not rally round to help him when he was down.
He has decided to set up a Leo Mezie Kidney Foundation as a way of giving back to the society and saying thanks to them. According to him, they are presently treating two people.
