While many have given their support to Tuface IDibia over the upcoming protest taking place in February, Nollywood actress, Funke Adesiyan has a reason to disagree with him.

According to her, she doesn’t see the need for any protest but rather this should propel youths to join the political sector and bring about the change they so much desire.

Although one would say she is making a point but then, even if the youths join the political sector now, nothing much can be done with the current situation of the country.

Therefore a protest is necessary to make the government understand that the massive are not content with the situation faced in the country.

She Said: “when people ask me why I joined politics, I tell them from the truest of my heart that it is because I got tired of how things were being done in my country. It’s not enough for us to protest, it’s more important for us youths of the nation to get involved in governance. You could try many times before achieving it. Even if you fail all the time, you are a champion amongst those who didn’t try at all. Youth are the driving force of the nation, we are smart, intelligent, and agile and we possess many more social qualities. Let’s not waste it protesting to a deaf horse. Let’s rise and contest for public offices and be the change we desire.”
