Senior Pastor of the Word of Life Church Warri, Delta State, Ayo Oritsejafor and his wife, Helen, were at an event over the weekend, where they were guests.
However, what got the attention of many people was the number of bodyguards around the influential man of God and his wife.
It left many people asking and wondering why a man of God and former leader of Christians in Nigeria would need those massive body guards.
Also, many asked who wants them harmed or killed that warrant such number of bodyguards for the ‘protection of their lives’ when God’s protection still remains the ultimate, as clerics tell their members.
It is understandable when popular artists, actors and politicians get security body guards, but when men and women of God do same, people tend to raise eyebrows.
After all, they preach in their various churches about God’s promise of protection to his children.
Does it mean that they do not strongly believe Scriptures like 2 Thessalonians 3:3, Prov. 2:11, Psalm 34:19, Psalm 46:1 among other assuring scriptures of protection?
