Nollywood actress, actress, Taiwo Ajai-Lycett, has made it clear that some people in the country have a degree of madness in them but we allow them to walk freely on the streets.

She said “There is a level of mental illness in this country that nobody has recognised yet. It is not everybody that you see walking on the streets that is sane. How sane can a man be if he is taking a nine or 14-year-old girl for a wife? Is that person sane?

She went on to say“…You see a situation where people drive against traffic in Nigeria and get away with it, why would you not have everyone go haywire? Why would you not find people defiling young girls? When ministers have meetings and they go to the universities to traffic our girls for their entertainment, how do you think our society is going to be well and orderly if these are the people leading our society?”
