A 22-year-old girl has been arrested by Police in Kubwa for allegedly stealing and selling her cousin’s laptop computer at the rate of N18, 000.
The woman stole the computer when her cousin visited the family. She confessed she stole it to use the money to treat her sick child.
A police source said, “The cousin came from Keffi to sleep in the house when they woke up the following morning and discovered that the laptop was missing,”
The mother of the suspect reported the case to the station. During interrogation, the suspect confessed that she sold the item to one Alex at Gbazango area in Kubwa.
According to a Kubwa Divisional Police Officer, CSP Nuruddeen Sabo, both the seller and the buyer of the computer are held under police custody.
“We will charge them to court if they don’t reconcile as a family,” he said.
