Ex- Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshall Isaac Alfa has been sworn in as Senator representing Kogi East senatorial district under the Peoples Democratic Party.

While Senator Benjamin Uwajumogu a member of the All Progressives Congress ( APC ) who was newly elected as the Senator representing Imo North was also sworn in during the Tuesday’s Plenary.

The duo emerged as winners in their rerun elections, they have also pledged their allegiance to the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Meanwhile, the bill for Federal Capital Territory Transport Authority and bill for Chartered Institute of Loan and Risk Management of Nigeria passed first reading on Tuesday.

Also passed first readings are the bills for National Child Protection and Enforcement Agency; Economic and Financial Crimes Commission Act and Dishonoured Cheques Offences Act.
