Nigerian singer B-Red has always being criticized by many who felt he was more of Davido’s body guard than an artiste.
Bred and Davido are cousins and he is always seen wherever Davido is. both brothers seems to be really close and they are signed to same label, HKN.
His music career has being kind of dormant despite being associated to a big brand like Davido as he has failed to hit it big in the industry.
Tired of being in denial, Bred has finally acknowledged the fact that he is Davido’s shadow, as he reveals that he is not ashamed to be Davido’s follower.
The little popularity he has is from being known with Davido and he claims hyping Davido all through the years helped him built his brand.
He said: “I built my brand by hyping my cousin for four years and look at where I am now. In every group, you have a leader and I do not care about him being number one as long as I am doing good, getting money and doing shows. Davido is number one and we follow but you never know, probably I’ll be as big as he is. If your cousin is a star, won’t you want to be a star too. Knowing that God has a plan for everybody, I am comfortable with the unhurried pace. There was a time I didn’t have a car or a Rolex, but look at me now. Every year, I grow and I will get bigger, so I am not in a rush. I am okay and content.”
